Paranoia on my heels
Hey there, my name is Yvonne and I live in one of Germany's most beautiful city... in Hamburg. The most important thing in my life is music ♪♫... as you can see in this blog. I'm deeply in love with the Avett Brothers, but also Mumford & Sons, Johnny Flynn, Laura Marling, Bon Iver, Noah and the whale, Marcus Foster, Angus & Julia Stone, Florence and the machine, Nathaniel Rateliff, Dry the River... and many, many more. Most of them I've already seen live... but my journey isn't over yet, cause concerts are my second passion.

Blue Valentine (Dir. Derek Cianfrance)
“I think it’s very romantic. Back home, they call it an anti-love story. But the filmmaker, when he first started writing this film 12 years ago, he said he wrote it as a reaction to all these films that he was watching, which seemed like the actors were carved out of marble and made in the image of gods. He wanted to make a film that was made in the image of man, that embraces that our faults are what makes us special and human. And these characters in this film couldn’t embrace each other’s faults, because they were trying to live up to some idea of perfection that only exists in movies. So, I think that it is romantic to acknowledge the faults.” - Ryan Gosling
I’ve still not seen this movie.
